Primary School Students Shared Their Learning Results With Parents

26 May 2017

Last week primary school students invited their parents to the student-led conference to tell them about the results of their study during the year. Students in Primary School keep a Student Portfolio of their work each year. During student-led conferences that are held in the third term students use them to demonstrate and explain to their parents what they have learned in all subjects.

The collection of work samples in a portfolio shows a student’s understanding and application of the curriculum including their development of the skills of learning and the attributes of the Primary years program Learner Profile

This way, the student develops a sense of responsibility towards their learning while parents are directly involved in supporting the child.
