As the 2017/2018 academic year is coming to an end, students share their memories and impressions from their experience at the British International School Ukraine.

This year I learned tricky words. I can read and write them. – Sima, Reception

When we learned about healthy choices we did an experiment. I touched bread with my dirty hands and put it in a plastic bag, another student did the same but had clean hands. It was really surprising to see that after a few days bacteria and mold grew on the dirty bread. I thought it was a joke, but it was real! – Roqeebah, Year 4

I liked it when we cleaned our teeth. This is so we do not have fillings. We are not supposed to eat too much chocolate. – Amina, Nursery

Never give up and finish what you started because if you never give up then everything will be great! – Amina, Year 7

I learned that we need to help each other because if someone doesn’t have anyone to play with we need to help them. – David, Year 1

This year has helped me to realise what I would like to do later in life and what I have to do to get there. – Ashur, Year 11

I really want to thank Mr. Edwards. He is a really good teacher that will always help and understand, always will try to explain something. The really good thing about Mr. Edwards is that he has a big sense of humour but he can use different feelings like humour, love, smartness…. One hundred times thank you to Mr Edwards!! –  Veronika, Year 6

Our school helps me become better, more organized and independent. – Anna, Year 12

All the teachers in our school motivated me to be better. I want to thank all the teachers in this wonderful school. – Vika, Year 10

First of all, love yourself. This is the key to the whole life structure. Without accepting your own personality, who you really are, there is no happy ending in most cases. Secondly, remember that it is your life and no matter what people or even relatives say you are the only one who is deciding what is going to be next. So dream, plan and achieve your goals. All you need is a strong belief in yourself and your dreams and someone to support you and your ideas. – Daria, Year 12
