BISU’s exceptional teaching team blends the proficiency and insights of international and Ukrainian Early Years educators. Their competencies include 

  • international credentials: PGDE, Postgraduate qualifications in Montessori and Froebelian philosophies, child psychology degree, Special Educational Needs Coordinator courses; 
  • local expertise: degrees in preschool pedagogy, psychology, education methodology and organisation.   
  • expertise in a range of academic disciplines: music classes, general development, creative classes in molding, drawing, design, appliqué and school readiness preparation.

Admission

3–5

years old

All children applying for admission to Nursery and Primary School are asked to come to the school for an interview. They can be admitted regardless of their level of English proficiency.

6-10

years old

To benefit from our academic programmes students are expected to have sufficient competency in English.

11–17

years old

Children applying for admission to Years 7–13 are required to have a formal interview and take a formal English language test.
