BISU Students Present Ukraine on the Global Stage at COBIS MUN in Prague

Recently, BISU proudly participated in a prestigious international event organised by COBIS in partnership with PLIS. Ten of our senior students travelled to Prague from 30 January to 2 February to take part in the Model United Nations (MUN) conference — an event that brought together nearly 200 students from 20 top schools across Europe for an intense, high-level debate on global issues.

European Day of Languages at BISU

Every year on 26th September, the European Day of Languages celebrates linguistic diversity and encourages students to explore new languages. This year, our school fully embraced the occasion with a range of interactive activities in French, German, and Spanish lessons, emphasising the importance of learning modern foreign languages.

We are happy to announce the successful completion of another remarkable year at BISU, aptly named the "Year of Unity." The spirit of unity and teamwork shone brightly as we navigated challenges together, emerging stronger than ever.

House System Launch

Recently we launched our House System, which is a time-honoured tradition in many schools around the world. Under this system, students are divided into smaller groups, or "houses," each with its own unique identity, colours, and traditions – Curiosity, Illumination, Resilience or Creativity!

World Book Week

We just wrapped up an incredible World Book Week celebration from 4th-7th March. It was a true testament to the joy of reading and the power of books to inspire, educate, and entertain.

Ukraine’s Unity Day at BISU

World Book Day at BISU

Recently, BISU joined the global community in marking World Book Day, which was initially introduced by UNESCO in 1995 and launched in the UK and Ireland in 1997. Its main purpose is to change lives through a love of books and shared reading. This year's theme is Making it 'Your' World Book Day
