2nd Annual Junior Soccer Tournament
On Monday 14 May British International School Ukraine participated in the 2nd annual Junior Soccer Tournament between International schools in Kyiv. The joined team of Primary School students from Pechersk and Nivki Secondary schools trained hard and was excited to participate in the tournament. According to the rules each team consisted of 8 players with two girls on each team who had to be present consistently throughout the games.
“These were very dramatic games”, – says Mr. Andriy Burdiyan, PE teacher and coach. – “Our students showed their good team spirit and met some challenge. I`m very proud of my team. Unfortunately we were not successful but it’s a good experience. Our students learned some valuable lessons and are now better prepared for future wins”.
