Celebrating the creativity of BISU students
Not so long ago a Makerspace was opened at BISU NUPS campus. It is a space with cutting-edge tools for creative collaboration, product design and development. Designers, craftspeople and entrepreneurs use such a space to work side-by-side to develop their ideas from prototype to production.
The BISU Makerspace provides students with the opportunity to work on projects, learning new technical, design thinking and 21st Century skills. And many of them succeed!
With the goal of promoting students success on May 13th, BISU Art & Makerspace Exhibition was held at TSEKH Gallery. This time the exhibition was a display of artwork by secondary school BISU students. Artists ranged in age from 10 to 16 years old and came from all 3 BISU Kiev campuses.
All visitors found the exhibition quite impressive given the age of the students – the wide range of exhibits from portraits and landscapes to large formats and few sophisticated in terms of quality of content, composition and design, technique and finished artworks.
Note: TSEKH is a leading Ukranian contemporary art gallery, one of the biggest private galleries in Ukraine handling several European art projects and successfully providing support to Ukrainian artists with a global platform for their work (tsekh.com.ua).
