On September 26th the European Day of Languages is celebrated in Europe.
In Europe this holiday is considered to be traditional since 2001 and is celebrated as a way to support linguistic diversity, bilingualism of every European citizen and the development of language teaching in the world. The holiday calls for the study of foreign languages as it is the path to mutual understanding between peoples and nations.
Students and teachers of the British International School in Ukraine also joined the holiday – this day on all campuses at the lessons of foreign languages special events and contests were held.
