Every year we have new teachers coming to work at the British International School Ukraine and bringing their knowledge, experience and enthusiasm and we also have some teachers leaving the school in search for new opportunities for personal growth and development as well as new possibilities to teach children around the world. As the school year is coming to an end the leaving staff of the British International School Ukraine say goodbye to their colleagues, students and parents.
My time at BISU has been an experience I will never forget. I wish all my students the very best in their learning journeys.
Dear Parents and Students of 6.2 Pechersk
It has been a great pleasure working with such lovely children and I congratulate them on their efforts this year and wish them all the very best as they continue their journey into secondary school. Without a doubt, they all have huge potential in many different areas of learning so they must take full advantage of all the opportunities that arise. I hope they will remember the 2017/2018 academic year with as much fondness as I will.
My heartfelt thanks to you as parents for having supported me so well throughout the year. I have enjoyed meeting every one of you and I urge you to continue to support the teachers in secondary school and to encourage your child(ren) to work hard and stay motivated to learn. A positive home/school partnership is vital to promote success.
Have a fantastic summer wherever you may be spending it.
Thank you so much for sharing this special experience with me.
I have enjoyed my time in Ukraine and it has been a pleasure to teach such an inquisitive group of children in 1.2. Thank you to all the parents for your continued support and interest throughout the year. I wish the class every success for the future.
A relatively short stay for me in Kiev, but a most interesting experience & lots for me to remember fondly in the future. Warm wishes to all my students for the future & to receiving the success that your invested effort deserves.
Teaching at BISU has provided many challenges and living away from home has been difficult at times, however, the delightful group of 14 children I have had the pleasure of teaching has made the past year most enjoyable and memorable. Thank you for always trying your best and working so hard! I am proud of each and everyone of you and wish you all every success as you move into Year 3.
Working alongside such supportive parents makes teaching so much easier, thank you for your regular communication and for trusting me with the care and education of your child.
I have met some fantastic colleagues and made some life long friends: To Kate, thank you for making me feel so welcome and helping me settle into school and Kiev so well. To Carl, I am so lucky to have worked alongside you. Thanks for sharing all your great ideas, and, for making me laugh every day! To the fabulous Miss Aliona, I cannot thank you enough for all your help. Your endless enthusiasm, organisation, hard work, dedication and creativity has ensured we have all had a happy and productive year.
I will miss you all.
