International day at British International School
On Friday, October 12, an International day was held at the British International School. During this day students had an opportunity to get acquainted with other cultures and traditions. The school is multinational and the celebration of the International day in the middle of October has become a tradition. The aim of the event is to learn more about the culture of classmates and widen the horizons.
This day students came to school in the traditional costumes of their country. At Nivki Early Years & Lower Primary School students and their parents also prepared traditional treats.
Students of primary and secondary school at Pechersk presented performance for parents. It included dancing with hand fans as a part of Oriental culture, French dance and last dance in vyshyvanka. The presentation was bright and the audience got only positive emotions.
