Secondary School Students Visited Poltava
On February 17-18 secondary school students visited Poltava, where they learned more about the culture and traditions of this city and region. Students visited the Museum of Poltava battle history, went to the State Historical and Cultural reserve «The Field of the Great Poltava Battle», visited the urban settlement of Dykanka, famous for its depiction in the stories of the prominent writer Nikolai Gogol, had excursions to the Museum of Ukrainian Wedding and Aviation and Space Museum. Students also had several workshops where they prepared traditional Poltava dish called Galushka and made whistles of clay.
