Y3-9 Intra School Tournament – December 9th – 11th 2019
Students from Years 3 through to 9 participated in the second round of the Intra School Tournament series on the 9th, 10th and 11th December 2019.
The first day of the competition saw Years 3 and 4 students battle it out in bench-ball, an activity which was introduced last year and proved to be very popular. It was a close competition between Nivki and Pechersk but first places in both boys and girls competitions were taken by Pechersk. Nivki girls secured second and third places whilst the boys were awarded bronze.
On day two we saw students in Years 7 through to 9 participate in basketball. The competition was fierce but there could only be one winner and first place was taken by Pechersk in the boys division and Nivki in the girls division. Nivki teams were also able to secure second place in both the boys and girls competitions.
On the final day it was a turn for Years 5 and 6 students to demonstrate their sporting ability in bench-ball. Students were determined to win and it was arguably the most competitive tournament out of all three days. On this occasion it was time for Nivki campus to take first positions in both boys and girls competitions. Girls were also able to secure second place for Nivki whilst Pechersk boys took second and third placings.
