The first school week for the primary students was active and exciting. Our friends – Young Engineers Club visited us again to give a workshop using special LEGO kits.
The lesson usually includes several steps. In the beginning, students receive the information – the topic of the lesson with the use of stories and illustrations that help them understand the working principle of any given physical phenomenon. Then goes the process of model building and improvement. While working on a model, students not only become more attentive to details but also apply creative solutions and develop fine motor skills. At the end of the lesson, students take the models to pieces, in this way they learn how organize their workplace and keep order.
The lessons are so engaging that the students do not notice how quickly time passes. Combining theory with the game students have a better understanding and memorizing of the material.
