Online education
The British International School, Ukraine offers online education for children between 6 to 18 years old. They follow the National Curriculum for England.
At the end of Year 11, students take their Cambridge IGCSE* exams to obtain an International General Certificate of Secondary Education.
In Years 12—13 students can study the two-year the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-level programmes, the qualifications which allow students to enter universities worldwide.
The school also offers a Ukrainian programme for those aspiring to earn a Ukrainian State-Standard Certificate of General Secondary Education, basic or complete.
*The school is a Cambridge authorised exam centre where students can be assessed using the Cambridge Checkpoint exams and the Cambridge IGCSE exams.
External education
Ukrainian Externat Foundation operates according to the New Ukrainian School curriculum (Years 1-5) and the curricula recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Years 6-11).
External studies at BISU enable our students to enjoy all the benefits of independent learning as well as the individual support provided by our experienced academics and tutors. On completing the programme, students pass their tests to obtain a State-Standard Certificate of General Secondary Education, basic or complete.
